I own this book and admittedly, it does have some very key points and gives explicit guidance for those wanting to learn more, but I don't think that this book is one for the new-comer to the Craft. I like that it has little excercises at the end of each chapter but not necessarily based on what you've read but what you've gotten out of it. Very well written. Recommended.
